The LB House is a compact, 2400 square-foot, two bedroom house built for a working artist in Glendale, California. The site is a former parking lot adjoining an existing studio building. The house and studio together form a live/work compound around an active landscaped courtyard. Working within the constraints of a tight urban lot, the exterior landscape is fully integrated into the living space of the house.
